It’s the SAFE‑AI project (SAFE Artificial Intelligence-based Decision Support for Mechanical VENTilation of Critically Ill Patients), a European initiative testing an AI‑based decision support system for mechanical ventilation to improve safety, reduce clinician burden, and enhance outcomes for critically ill patients.
ESAIC is involved in this project, which is currently at the phase 2 application sage, so not yet selected.
They are now looking to involve a patient representative who has ideally a lived experience of ICU and mechanical ventilation and experience contributing to European funded projects and would be interested in participating in this type of collaboration.
If there is someone in my network who could be interested and suitable for this role. The project foresees a budget to cover as honorarium and travel expenses.
