The last days of summer...

Just back from a fantastic holiday to Spain with friends, my 5th or 6th time this year, possibly the last, who knows I might be able to squeeze one more in (I hope). :)

This trip was exceptionally hot, even for Spain 36 - 38 degrees most days, it's really very hard to care what to wear at that point, as I'm just trying not to melt and getting my bag to stay stuck was a little bit of a challenge, but thankfully no mishaps this time.

The day times were easy, just a bikini nothing more, well my bikini and a bag.

Leaning on the best man in the world I know bar none on a pedalo in the Med. Not sure if life gets better than that. :)Bikini from Tesco, no point in spending loads on them as they all ruin with sun cream.

Evenings were the tricky part (first world problem I know). Having spent a day in sun creams and sweat it doesn't make it easy to reapply bags. My best advice - cool showers, ostomy wipes and a fan for air movement.

We did manage to get dolled up and go out most evenings. We even went to places we'd never been before, one night we drove up in the mountains to a village called Aledo, near Totana, Murcia. Well worth a look if you're ever in the region. so beautiful. We dined in an old converted monastery, I don't think i'm exaggerating to say the food and ambiance was heavenly!
